MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - Tuesday marks five months since the historic tornado outbreak in Alabama.
Morgan County emergency responders are pushing a new program to help find people the next time a big storm comes.
This is a way for rescue workers to get to people trapped in their own storm shelters and it gives emergency responders more time to find people who don't have a shelter.

A wreck claimed the lives of two teenagers on Friday night.
By Tim Kelly
It happened on Hudson Road in Morgan County, between Trinity and Decatur.
State Troopers say the wreck was a head-on collision between a truck and an SUV. Troopers believe one of the vehicles crossed the center line, hitting the other vehicle head-on.
The two teenagers in the SUV, a boy and a girl, were pronounced dead on the scene.
Paramedics flew the man driving the truck to Huntsville Hospital.
At this time investigators are still trying to confirm the identities of the teenagers.
Hudson Road is shut down while they investigate.

Justin Tanner stared at the 3-year-old child in the back of an ambulance as he pumped his chest and blew air into his lungs.
With each chest compression, he visualized his own son lying there, his life seeping out despite all efforts to save him.
“I worked on that child from Somerville to Decatur and still lost him,” said Tanner, a Massey volunteer firefighter and medic.
